Cat Dissection Begins Friday
As we begin dissection of the cat this week there are a few reminders for proper lab procedure.
Please remember...
*Under no circumstance should any tissue be removed from the classroom
*You need to bring in a box of gloves and a tube of Clorox type wipes for your lab station
*This is a learning opportunity, treat your specimen with respect. Any actions in and out of the classroom that are deemed to be improper use of a specimen will result in disciplinary action. This includes posting inappropriate pictures on social media. (It's not funny)
* If you want to bring a dissecting shirt in to put over you school clothes, I will keep this in my room.
*Wash your hands and clean all dissecting utensils and station after each session.
*You will be responsible for the information observed during the dissection. We will have practical lab quizzes where you will be responsible for identifying structures on the specimen.
