Test Format
Section One: Matching
Must be able to identify the functions of plant structures and Identify which classification of plant uses/has these structures.

There will be 2 categories Adaptation and Effect of Adaptation. I will give you one or the other and you will fill in the missing piece.

Given Effect of Adaptation : Reduces water loss in leaves and stems
Answer Adaptation : WAXY CUTICLE
Section Three and Four: Short Answer
You will be given a scenario and will have to identify the stimuli, predict the plant response and explain how the plant will change (cellular/tissue) for that response.

Botany Unit
As we begin the plant unit, I would like you to start to think about the connections of the functions of plant tissues and organs to those we will soon be learning about in Vertebrate anatomy.
We will blow throw chapters 23-27 in about 2 weeks and then spend a week on photosynthesis and transpiration. Dates are subject to change
